Spirit of the Harvest: A look at the 2025 Field to Table at the Franklin Park Conservatory

For the past several years, our team has been delighted to be part of the annual Field to Table gala, benefiting the Franklin Park Conservatory. On August 22, 2025, the Franklin Park Conservatory’s Grand Mallway gardens were transformed into an unforgettable celebration of Ohio’s late-summer harvest at the 17th annual Field to Table event. This event is a true testament to the generosity and spirit of our community, as more than 700 guests gather beneath a canopy of twinkling lights to support the conservatory’s community outreach, education and access programs.

Joined together around elegantly dressed tables of fresh pots of herbs and vibrant seasonal fruits as centerpieces, guests enjoyed a dining experience that embodied the spirit of field-to-table. Our team at Cameron Mitchell Premier Events was honored to bring the evening to life with a four-course plated dinner that paired seasonal bounty with thoughtful artistry, beginning with a deconstructed panzanella of grilled focaccia, whipped ricotta, hot honey, and roasted pistachios. An elevated take on a garden classic.

As the sun set over the gardens, courses unfolded in graceful succession. Pillowy four-cheese tortellini with pickled beech mushrooms, an entrée of charred chicken with rosemary polenta and smoked tomato vinaigrette, and a finale of delicate lemon cassata paired with warm Sicilian pistachio cake and white-chocolate-dipped biscotti. Every detail, from the tableside wine service to the hand-finished desserts, was crafted to complement the conservatory’s breathtaking setting and its mission to support community, education and outreach. We are grateful to have played a role in such a meaningful evening, where good food and great company came together to cultivate connection and impact.
