As a young girl Alix dreamt of being a wedding planner, eventually finding a passion for patisserie. This was no surprise as she grew up in the kitchen watching her mother cook and bake for her family and friends. She also has enjoyed traveling the world with her father as they shared food and laughter over good wine and pastries.
Alix began her culinary journey after high school at Otterbein University and eventually graduated with a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University in hospitality management and business. She went on to work at a local French patisserie and later became a personal chef before finding her home at Cameron Mitchell Premiere Events (CMPE). Beginning her career with CMPE as a cook and eventually rising through the ranks to Bakery Supervisor and now to Sous Chef. She finds joy in her role as she gets to cook, lead her team on events, and retains the creativity of running the bake shop.
