Growing up, Jay’s love for cooking was inspired by his Mom and Grandma. His family worked in and owned restaurants all his life, which helped him develop a deeper knowledge and respect for the industry at a very young age. After attending Columbus State, Jay joined Cameron Mitchell Restaurants and helped open Molly Woo’s Asian Bistro, as well as M at Miranova. In 2007, he joined Cameron Mitchell Premier Events as a line cook and rose through the ranks developing as a Sous Chef, then Executive Chef, and was recently promoted to Corporate Chef.
