Growing up, Jay’s love for cooking was inspired by his mother and grandmother. His family worked in and owned restaurants all his life, helping him develop a deeper knowledge and respect for the industry at a very young age. After attending Columbus State Community College, Jay joined Cameron Mitchell Restaurants and helped open Molly Woo’s Asian Bistro, as well as M at Miranova. In 2007, he joined Cameron Mitchell Premier Events as a line cook and has risen through the ranks, becoming a Sous Chef, Executive Chef, and currently, Corporate Chef.
