Built in 1903, the monumental building once generated electricity for public streets and buildings in the downtown area. Today, The Stack at Municipal Light Plant is your event destination. It garnered its name from the two-story high smokestack built in 1946, which stands as a welcoming symbol of Genuine Hospitality in Columbus. The venue accommodates 250-300 guests for a seated reception and up to 400 guests for a standing reception.

The Stack at Municipal Light Plant includes exclusive outdoor patio, historic cellar, 2.5-hour set up time and 2-hour breakdown time, onsite private suites, day of coordination, 60-inch round tables, eight and six foot tables, cabaret tables, and chameleon chairs.
